I’m currently focused on writing stories that connect young children with nature and help nurture their greatness. I’m looking for an agent for my debut story, and this website provides the purpose and context for my stories.
There were things I wish I could have shared with my younger self when she was growing up and finding her way through life so she could thrive. I captured these in a mini eBook I called The Self-Love Manifesto.
At the height of COVID-19, I turned my Manifesto into a ‘train the trainer’ program and toolkit called Remarkable Me, which I ran with teachers, mentors and welfare leads in schools.
It empowers individuals to blossom in their greatness and equips them with the skills and tools to bring out the best in the children in their care.
Running my programme inspired me to write stories for young children. Heartwarming adventures with messages of hope, love, and encouragement to be themselves.
With a sense of their place and belonging in the world. And a curiosity to discover their greatness.
My stories will cover the themes in Remarkable Me. However, as I often do, I also asked the bees for advice. What did they want me to write about?
Harmony, love, balance, and our interconnectedness with each other and with nature. And the importance of looking after each other and the planet was their reply.
So, with delight, I have begun.
